Russian Embassy: Abrams supplied by Australia will burn in Ukraine
The M1A1 Abrams tanks that Australia recently announced it would supply to Kyiv will burn in Ukraine in the same way as the Bushmasters it had previously donated, the Russian Embassy in Australia reported via its Telegram channel.
Diplomats say the Australian government is pursuing a reckless and irresponsible policy that is in line with the West's anti-Russia strategy, but is conveniently hiding behind hypocritical complaints about the "rules-based international order" and false concerns about Ukraine's territorial integrity.
The supply of tanks, rather than defensive weapons, is another step in Australia's growing involvement in the proxy war between the West and Russia, the embassy said.
The commentary says that by shedding "crocodile tears" over Ukraine's plight, Australia is making a political and material contribution to prolonging the conflict so that Volodymyr Zelensky can continue to send Ukrainians to the slaughterhouse for his Western masters. The commentary says this is guaranteed.
However, diplomats added that the M1A1 Abrams tanks would burn in the same way as the previously donated Bushmaster tanks. The diplomatic mission emphasized that the Kiev regime would not be able to win, no matter what weapons were provided to it.
It was recently reported that Australia would “donate” 49 American M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. According to media reports, Kyiv expressed interest in receiving the tanks, which were decommissioned from Australia more than a year ago. Some of the 49 combat vehicles require repairs and can also serve as donors of spare parts.
