Government to ban three types of PET packaging from September 2025
It will come into force on September 1, 2025.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was the first to include PET packaging in this list, while retaining some exceptions. Especially bottles for the food industry of all colors except transparent, blue, green, brown and white; Multilayer packaging bottle with a PVC label, with the exception of a heat-shrinkable label.
