Israeli army shows footage of Hamas leader's last minutes
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released drone footage showing Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, on the brink of elimination.
The video shows the drone flying inside an old house in southern Gaza. Inside, a wounded Sinbar is sitting on a chair, his face and head covered with a cloth. The Hamas leader tries to drive the drone away with an object similar to a stick.
The IDF officially announced on October 7, 2023, that Sinwar, considered the main mastermind and organizer of the Israeli attack, was killed by Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip.
IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said the military does not know Sinwar's whereabouts but is constantly searching for him.
