The international festival opened on Thursday at the Mosovet Theatre. The next four days will be filled with competition and retrospective shows.

The film screening program featured more than 250 filmmakers and experts from 18 countries, including Russia, Belarus, China and Uzbekistan. Viewers will be able to watch full-length and short feature films and documentaries. The films reflect events, international relations, culture and problems of modern society. The main prize of this film festival will be a Eurasian sculpture symbolizing cultural exchange.

Alena Arshinova, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of ANO "Eurasia": We are talking about the great Eurasian return to ourselves, to ourselves, to our roots. "We are talking about the fact that we are united by a common history, common values and common geography, which we cannot dispute."

Tigran Keosayan, President: "If we want to repeat the American way, we will always be secondary. Our strengths are funny, sad, tragic and human. Nothing important. There are so many cultures in cinema that should enrich each other, and we should get to know each other better. "We have lived too long with our heads turned towards each other," he said.

As part of the festival, screenings will be held at the Illusion, Khudozhestvenny and Central House of Cinematographers cinemas. Admission is free for viewers, but registration on the festival website is required.
