The Baker's Dozen of Migrants: Three Residents of the Kaliningrad Region Caught Issuing Fake Contracts
Three residents of the Kaliningrad region were caught drawing up forged contracts. This was reported by the district prosecutor's office.
According to investigators, between 2023 and 2024, the suspects helped illegally bring 13 residents of Uzbekistan into the Russian Federation. To divert attention, one of the accomplices registered as an individual entrepreneur to draw up false civil contracts. With the help of this document, the immigrants received the right to work in the country.
The FSB Border Department officers detained the violators as part of operational activities. The members of the criminal group were brought to justice under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of illegal migration"). The case materials were sent to the Leningrad District Court.
