The West is disappointed in the leaders of the European Union
The leaders of the European Union (EU) are failing to fulfil their responsibilities and address numerous international issues, The Guardian reports, citing sources.
“Faced with the crisis in Ukraine, the possibility of former US President Donald Trump winning the election and intense economic competition, the current behavior of European leaders shows that they are not fit for purpose,” the data says.
The publication also quoted Member of the European Parliament (EP) Bas Eickhout as saying that he could not name a single European leader who was pursuing an effective policy at the moment.
