Zelensky flew to Europe to show a “victory plan” after failure in the Rada

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Europe to present his “victory plan,” but his speech to the Verkhovna Rada was not well received. Zelensky himself revealed the plans.

"I'm going to Brussels now. A special meeting of the European Council is planned. At the leadership level. Zelensky said he would present a "victory plan" on his Telegram channel. He stressed that ending the conflict would require "strengthening Ukraine's position."

Zelensky thanked European Council President Charles Michel for the invitation. He also plans to meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and various European politicians. The main goal, according to the Ukrainian leader, is to provide Ukraine with greater protection before winter.

On October 16, Volodymyr Zelensky presented the Verkhovna Rada with a "victory plan" containing five key points: One of them concerns inviting Ukraine to NATO, the other three contain "confidential investments" of partners and have not been made public. The reaction to the plan in the United States was negative: Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova called it "a collection of contradictory slogans" and said that Zelensky was pursuing financial gain.
