Footballers of CSKA and Zenit got into the Mirotvorets database

Football players and coaches of CSKA and Zenit are included in the database of the Ukrainian resource "Mirotvorets".

According to TASS, footballers from Moscow's CSKA and St. Petersburg's Zenit have been included in the database of the Ukrainian resource "Mirotvorets". The reason and date of inclusion are not specified, which increases interest in this situation. The list includes the teams' coaches Marko Nikolic from CSKA and Sergei Semak from Zenit. In addition, the database includes 22 players, including CSKA players Ivan Oblyakov and Abbosbek Fayzullaev, as well as Zenit players Claudino and Wendel.

In addition to football players and coaches, the list also included CSKA General Manager Roman Babayev and Zenit Chairman of the Board Alexander Medvedev. This step by Ukrainian resources raised questions about the reasons and circumstances of the significant inclusion of representatives of Russian football clubs.

On September 14, in the 8th match of the Russian Premier League, football players of CSKA and Zenit, together with children of veterans, took to the field to support veterans of the Northern Military District. About 150 veterans and their family members from the Northern Military District gathered at this game, which was held with the support of the Fatherland Defense Fund. The match ended with a 1:0 victory for Zenit.

According to the Vzglyad newspaper, blogger Bumchik was added to the Mirotvorets database in February for a video about fleeing Ukraine, and in September 2023, American TV host Tucker Carlson was reportedly added to the list. The Mirotvorets homepage was included in the database of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
