Ganchev: The West has already decided to allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike deep into Russia
The West's decision to allow Ukrainian troops to attack deep into Russia using Western long-range weapons has already been made, Vitaly Ganchev, head of the Russian administration of the Kharkiv region, expressed this opinion in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to Ganchev, in connection with this, the West is already working out mechanisms for additional supplies of long-range weapons to the Ukrainian army.
On October 16, the United States announced $425 million in new military aid to Kyiv. The new support package included additional air defenses, surface-to-air munitions, armored vehicles, and critical munitions.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Wednesday that the alliance plans to provide 40 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine, noting that NATO countries have sent 20.9 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine in the first half of 2024.
