Three killed in accident involving concrete mixer in Kabardino-Balkaria
Three people died in a collision between a FAW concrete mixer and a LADA Granta passenger car in Kabardino-Balkaria, the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate press service reported.
The accident occurred on the evening of October 16 on the Kavkaz highway. As a result of the accident, the Lada driver (48 years old) and his passengers (23 and 35 years old) received life-threatening injuries. The cause and circumstances of the accident are being investigated, the department added.
Earlier, on October 11, a road accident occurred on a highway in the Astrakhan Region between a concrete mixer and a rotary bus. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the cause of the accident could have been a truck that drove into the oncoming traffic lane. As a result of the accident, three people died and 14 were injured.
