Migrants staged a mass brawl in Saratov and came under the Investigative Committee's scrutiny. Video

After a large-scale brawl involving foreigners broke out in Saratov, investigative bodies opened a criminal case on the facts of violence. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported this on Telegram.

"A video was published on social networks in which a group of visitors to Saratov staged a large-scale fight on the street. Based on these facts, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Saratov Region opened a criminal case on the fact of violence committed by a group of people [Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation]," the department said in a statement. It is reported that the progress of the investigation will be reported to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.

A video of the incident was published on the Telegram channel "Saratov". In "Krutye 18+" it is clear that more than a dozen men are involved in a fight near a residential building and comments in a foreign language are heard. According to the caption to the video, the incident took place near house No. 13 on Begovaya Street. Representatives of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the fighting began on Tuesday evening at the intersection of Begovaya and Bolshaya Sadovaya Streets.

As a result, five foreigners were taken to the police station, two of whom were issued administrative codes for minor acts of violence in accordance with Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. They were then placed in cells for administrative detention.
