Tyumen Region Duma Deputy Ksenia Goryacheva did not approve of the decision of singer SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov) to register the brand "I am Russian" for the production of vodka. She called it a very strange step. In her opinion, we should move towards creating an image of Russians associated not with vodka, but with courage, achievements in science, culture and sports.
"The idea of paying for it to be Russian and buying a product with such a name also raises questions. Patriotism is not a product that can be bottled and sold. Using national identity to promote alcohol is not just marketing. It devalues patriotism and reinforces stereotypes that we have been fighting for many years," Goryacheva wrote on her Telegram channel.
