Living flower clock dismantled on Poklonnaya Hill
The clock on Poklonnaya Gora has been switched to winter mode. City residents often call the giant chronometer alive, because its body is a flowerbed. Before the onset of cold weather, city specialists dismantled the flowerbed, 11 m in diameter, in the shape of a flower dial and the inscription "Moscow". The hands and the clock mechanism were dismantled.
The devices, installed directly in the soil, are waiting for maintenance. This unique landscape composition starts its countdown again in April.
Now all the city flower beds are getting ready for winter. Feed the perennials, trim them, treat them for pests, and then decorate them with colorful wood chips.
