Xi Jinping: The Future of Humanity Depends on US-China Relations
Chinese President Xi Jinping said: "China-US relations are one of the most important bilateral relations in the world, affecting the happiness of not only the two countries but also the entire mankind." He said this in his greeting to participants of the traditional meeting of the National Committee on US-China Relations held in the United States.
President Xi Jinping said China has always strived to build relations with the United States on the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, stressing that the success of both countries is an opportunity for mutual development.
The Chinese leader said he was ready to further strengthen cooperation with the United States, saying such a partnership would benefit not only both countries but the entire world.
President Putin is reported to have congratulated China on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and mentioned Beijing's global success.
Stoltenberg previously commented on changes in Russia's nuclear doctrine.
