"Predators do not forgive mistakes." The owner of the Taigan Park named the cause of death of an employee torn apart by three lions

"This afternoon, it was discovered that an employee of the Taigan Lion Park, who had worked in the area for almost 17 years, entered an enclosure with three lions to clean and failed to close the door bolt between two cages in the enclosure. "As a result, the predators attacked the woman, causing her fatal injuries," the statement said.

We are talking about Leokadia Perevalova. The owner of the park Oleg Zubkov has already responded to the tragedy. According to him, the woman's death was caused by human error.

"A great tragedy has occurred in the Taigan Lion Park! Predators do not forgive mistakes! Lyalechka! We mourn."

The Investigative Committee is conducting an emergency inspection on site. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of violation of labor safety requirements, which resulted in the death of a person through negligence (Part 2 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

This is not the first case of death in Taigan Park. On January 15, 2017, the body of 29-year-old Maxim Yakovlev was found in a utility room of the zoo. As Oleg Zubkov himself later said, this man was a volunteer and did not have access to the building where the predators were. The man died of sepsis, which, according to the owner of the park, he contracted near Taigan. Zubkov insisted that the attack of the predator had nothing to do with these deaths. Maxim's relatives said the opposite. According to them, the young man was bitten by a lion while working part-time in the park without any documents, but since the government tried to hide the incident, the young man did not seek help in time.

In July 2018, a young lion bit a tourist in Kirov who was going to see the predator. These walks are available in Taigan for an additional fee. Later, the woman said that the predator bit her hand and dragged her away. Olga was saved from serious injuries by Oleg Zubkov, who fought the tourist off the animal. Later, the owner of the park said that the woman came to the lions after drinking, and that she should blame herself because the lions could not stand it. However, according to the court's decision, Zubkov still had to pay a fine of 400 thousand rubles after this incident.
