Economic activity growth accelerated again in October after slowing over the past four months - Bank of Russia review
Economic activity growth, which had slowed over the past four months, accelerated again in October.
The business climate indicator for Russian banks rose to 5.5 points from 4.6 points in September. Current estimates of production and demand exceed September levels. Positive short-term company expectations remained at the level of the last two months. In the third quarter of 2024, corporate investment activity continued to grow, albeit at a slower pace compared to the previous quarter.
Business price expectations have been rising for the second month in a row, with growth seen across most types of activity.
