American eSportsman Convicted of Insulting Russia

The eSports group Gaimin Gladiators previously criticized American Dota 2 player Quinn Callahan for offensive remarks about Russia. This will be reported on your organization's X page.

The company stated that Quinn's comments were not addressed to the Russian public at large and were taken out of context. At the same time, Gaimin Gladiators expressed the opinion that offensive language towards certain groups is unacceptable in eSports.

Callahan made offensive comments about Russia during a row with Kazakh athlete Yegor Miller. The American also recently played for the Gaiming Gladiators alongside Russian Anton Dyrache Shkredov.

Earlier, players of the Ukrainian eSports team Natus Vincere did not shake hands with their Russian colleagues from Virtus.pro after a match at the international Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Rio de Janeiro. The match ended with a 2:0 victory for the Ukrainian team.
