Goznak: Russia does not plan to abolish cash
Earlier, the Central Bank reported that cash in the hands of Russians increased by 171 billion rubles in April. It is assumed that this is due to seasonal factors and increased demand for cash ahead of the May holidays. Conversely, in January-March 2024, the amount of cash decreased. In March, it amounted to 103 billion rubles, in February - 24 billion rubles, in January - 540 billion rubles, which is the maximum figure since March 2022.
