Medvedev told where the SVO participants should “apply their efforts”

Participants in special military operations (SVO) may later pursue a career in politics and other industries. This was announced on Wednesday, October 16, by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

As the politician emphasized, members of the SVO can find themselves in educational activities, medicine, business: “there is something to focus on” and “not everyone needs to be a deputy.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the participants and guests of this ceremonial event on Father's Day, noting that the participants of this special military operation continue the tradition of patriotism through their example of serving their country.

At the same time, the President emphasized that the head of the family has always been a stronghold of prosperity, personified confidence in the future, and enjoyed high authority as a worker, mentor, and protector.

It has been reported several times before that SVO fighters took key positions after demobilization. For example, Andrei Dubrovsky, who participated in special combat operations and was awarded the Order of Courage, was elected Chairman of the Tula Regional Duma of the eighth convocation.

Artem Zhoga, who commanded the Spartanets battalion in 2022-2023, became the plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president in the Ural region. He promised: "Now I will work and serve my country when necessary."
