Three educational facilities will be built under participation agreements in the north-east of Moscow
In the north-east of Moscow, three educational facilities are being built under equity participation agreements. In total, according to the agreement with investors, 1,475 schools and 200 preschool institutions will be built in this part of the city. This was reported by Deputy Mayor Vladimir Efimov.
"Thus, in Maryina Roshcha, construction of general education institutions for 650 places is underway. In the Ostankino district, a kindergarten for 200 places and a school designed for 825 students are being built," he added.
It is expected that after the construction of these facilities is completed, some of the burden on other organizations will be eased. Work on this is expected to be completed next year, after which the facilities will be transferred to the city. Therefore, investor attraction programs help develop infrastructure.
The new institution is located within walking distance of residential complexes, including those built as part of the renovation program.
Thus, the head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, Vladislav Ovchinsky, noted that the priority in the new institution is multifunctionality.
“For example, the school in Ostankino will be equipped with engineering and medical laboratories, a research complex, and watercolor and drawing workshops,” he said.
Also, according to him, it is planned to create all the necessary conditions for children with disabilities.
Earlier, Moscow signed an agreement with the developer on participation in the development of social, transport and engineering infrastructure in Kommunarka. We provide construction of educational complexes at 675 locations. It will include a kindergarten for 225 children and a school for 450 children.
The complex is located in block 70, land plot No. 78/3. The facility is planned to be commissioned in 2026. After completion of construction, the investors will transfer it to the capital's education system.
