The new campus of BFU "Future Intellectual Space "Kantiana"" is almost 40% ready. This was reported by the government of the Kaliningrad region.
The construction of the building is on schedule and is progressing gradually. 38.6% of the construction has already been completed. In 2025, it is planned to commission two campus dormitories for almost 25 thousand people, and in 2026 - the remaining campus buildings, including the "library" - a scientific and educational space.
According to Alexey Besprozvannykh, regional authorities are ready to finance the construction of the campus if BFU wins. The choice of the I. Kant project will be announced in the near future.
"In the next two years, we plan to allocate more than 1 billion rubles to support the infrastructure of the Kaliningrad University," the governor said. "The construction of Kantiana Neo Campus is very important for the development of the region. The facility will attract thousands of students, teachers and researchers. "We will continue to work with businesses in the real sectors of the economy to involve them in the work of preparing our campuses and future life."
