Payments to young teachers to be increased in St. Petersburg
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg approved in the third reading a bill on increasing additional payments to young specialists working in the city's budget sector. This category includes beginning teachers, lecturers and university professors.
The salary of young teachers will increase from 2,000 to 5,000 rubles. For people who only have a diploma of secondary vocational education, the additional payment increases to 1,500-4,000 rubles. A beginning teacher is an employee of a state educational institution with less than three years of work experience.
