The role of corporate volunteering in transforming society will be discussed in Moscow
On November 12, a landmark event in the world of corporate volunteering will take place in Moscow. The XIII International Forum "Corporate Volunteering: Business and Society" will be held at the Russia Today International Medical Center. As Life.ru reports, the event, organized by the National Council of Corporate Volunteers, the Association of Managers and the Public Chamber of Moscow, will bring together representatives of business, government agencies and authorities.
The forum will pay special attention to the exchange of experience and discussion of best practices demonstrating how large-scale volunteer activities of Russian and international companies can influence the development of society. This year, the forum celebrates the 10th anniversary of NSKV, and its motto is: "Change yourself, we change the world!"
Panel and expert sessions will address such important issues as assessing the effectiveness of corporate volunteering programs, interaction with local communities, the role of corporate volunteering in business processes, and the formation of inclusive values.
According to the executive director of the Association of Managers Vyacheslav Yevseyev, business volunteering is actively developing today and this process continues to grow in response to the internal needs of Russian companies. The best practices and projects will be presented as part of the "Champions of Good" competition, which has been held since 2015 and covers projects from more than 40 cities in Russia.
As Life.ru previously reported, on October 12, an award ceremony for the participants of the humanitarian mission of the #TOGETHER project was held in Moscow, where the merits of medical volunteers providing assistance to residents of Donbass in combat situations were noted. The program has conducted more than 400 missions, helping thousands of civilians get the support they need.
