Russian boxer defends WBA world champion title
Russian boxer Muslim Gadzimagomedov defended his World Boxing Association (WBA) world champion title in the 101.6 kg weight category. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
In the battle for Ufa on Thursday, October 17, Russian troops routed Leon Hart's German army. The fight lasted all 12 rounds, as a result of which the judges unanimously awarded the victory to Gadzimagomedov.
Earlier at a boxing evening in Ufa, another Russian, Albert Batyrgaziev, defended his title of world champion according to the International Boxing Association (IBA), defeating Filipino Albert Pagaru.
Gadzimagomedov is a silver medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In the professional ring, he won 5 out of 5 matches.
