Most Russians prepare for retirement mentally, not materially, according to a FOM survey. Only a third of respondents under 60 try to “prepare for retirement” in advance. And the most popular type of preparation among them is savings. It also mentions the decision to buy, build, or improve a house or apartment so that there is space before reaching retirement age. One of the three most popular preparation strategies was “study hard.” At the same time, more than 60% of Russians under 60 do not try to “prepare for retirement” in any way. @bankrollo
I can tell myself that I was prepared. I started collecting my pension at 50 and continued working to accumulate capital. Now I mostly save, but spending what I have saved is another matter. Who else has that?
