Biden arrives in Berlin for meeting with Scholz
US President Joe Biden visited Germany, TASS reports.
On October 16, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that during the visit, the US leader will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to her, Biden plans to discuss with the German leadership not only bilateral issues, but also the international agenda, including the Ukrainian crisis.
In late September, the co-chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) Lars Klingweil said that the upcoming visit of the US president to Germany "will be a clear signal" to discuss support for Kyiv. Solidarity with Ukraine."
