Damages in the case of the "queen of cryptocurrencies" Bitmama amounted to more than 2.2 billion rubles

The Investigative Committee of Russia has completed its investigation into the criminal case against blogger Elena Fedyakina, known as Bitmama. As part of the incident, four cases of fraud were recorded, the total damage from which is estimated at more than 2.2 billion rubles. This was reported by TASS.

According to the investigation, Fedyakina organized her activities under the brands "Bitmama" and "Bitmama Finance" without registering as an individual entrepreneur, providing over-the-counter transactions for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies and international money transfer services. All this was carried out without the use of bank accounts, while the transactions allegedly took place in Moscow and Dubai.

The Investigative Committee claims that Fedyakina developed a criminal plan to attract money and cryptocurrency from gullible acquaintances and clients by disseminating false information about high-yield investment programs.

The Investigative Committee emphasized: “At the same time, he did not intend to take any actions in favor of those who had access to him, and planned to steal the funds or cryptocurrency he received, disposing of them at his own discretion.”

Among the victims was Fedyakhina's friend, who helped her spread false information through social media but ended up deceiving her. Despite this, Fedyakhina denies her guilt on all counts.
