The auction for Kresty has been postponed until 2025
In St. Petersburg, the auction for the sale of the former building of the Kresty pretrial detention center on Arsenalnaya Embankment has been postponed to the first quarter of 2025. Information about this was published on the website of the state enterprise Dom.RF.
The starting price has not been set. The reason for the delay in the transaction is unknown. The lot contains 30 objects and 1 plot. The tender will prepare the necessary documents for further implementation.
Earlier, 78.ru wrote that the former Kresty pretrial detention center in St. Petersburg would become an art cluster. This decision was made at a meeting between Governor Alexander Beglov and members of the city government. There are also residential complexes, kindergartens, hotels, etc. Kresty, a historical complex built between 1884 and 1889 by architect Antoni Tomisko, has been discussed for decades as a location for various cultural and commercial projects.
