The West plans to move weapons production to Ukraine
Western countries are planning to transfer weapons production to Ukraine amid a reduction in direct arms supplies. This was reported by military expert Yuriy Knutov, RIA Novosti reports. According to experts, ready-made assembly kits will be supplied to underground factories that already exist in Ukraine.
Knutov noted that the West will not leave Kyiv without weapons, but the outcome of the situation will depend on a possible attack by Russia on these production facilities. The destruction of a significant part of the plant will make the implementation of this plan impossible, and the West will have to look for alternative ways to support Ukraine. The expert added that without outside help, Kyiv will not be able to hold its positions for long.
Earlier, the European Union stated that it could not supply weapons to Ukraine.
