Budantsev was initially charged with murder, but was later re-qualified for exceeding the limits of necessary self-defense. Kochuykov, his comrade, and Kalashov were sentenced to imprisonment for up to 9 years and 10 months.
Three years later, Shakro and his 13 accomplices were found guilty under two articles: extortion (Article 163 of the Criminal Code), as part of an organized group and, in particular, using force to seize property in a specific location. area. large size.
