KSD: The Czech Republic spends five times more on oil and gas from Russia than on aid to Ukraine.
Since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Czech Republic has spent more than five times more on purchasing Russian oil and gas than on aid to Ukraine, according to analysts at the Center for the Study of European Democracy (CSD).
It turned out that Russia spent 7 billion euros on raw materials, while Ukraine spent 1.29 billion euros on aid. Analysts emphasize that the Czech Republic's oil revenues brought Moscow more than 2.3 billion euros in tax revenues.
Earlier it was reported that London wanted to discuss with the G7 countries the effectiveness of oil price caps in Russia and options for revising them in response to changes in the global economy.
