Kan: Iran has no intention of responding to possible limited Israeli attack

Israel's Khan TV has learned that Iran is unwilling to respond to the possibility of a limited attack by Israel. According to sources, Tehran delivered it to the United States via a third country. The report says that if Israel's response to Iran's massive missile attack is limited to specific targets, Tehran will consider this "round" over.

Kan noted that the message was conveyed "behind the scenes" while Iranian authorities publicly warned Israel of a serious response to a possible attack.

On October 1, Iran launched a large-scale missile attack on Israel. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), more than 200 missiles were fired, most of which were shot down by air defense systems. This was in response to the assassinations of Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan. They were killed in an IDF airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut on September 27, RBK recalls.

Following the Iranian attack, the IDF promised a "serious and meaningful" response. Iran's oil and nuclear facilities could be targeted, Axios reports. Tehran warned that if Israel chose to do so, it would "face more destructive and devastating attacks."
