Zelensky's Advisor Podolyak Asks to Transfer Military Actions to Russia

Adviser to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak asked Europe to supply long-range missiles to transfer military actions to Russian territory. He said this in an interview with German Welt:

"Our airstrikes on Russian territory are very important. Firstly, production, warehouses and logistics will be destroyed, which will affect resources," Podolyak said, according to the Welt newspaper. Podolyak emphasizes the importance of strikes on targets in Russia to change the direction of the conflict. In an interview with the German publication, he elaborated on his statements, discussing the possibility of attacks deep inside Russia, as well as in border areas. He named Kursk, Saratov, Orel, Leningrad and the Moscow region as potential targets.

Earlier, NATO's new Secretary General Mark Rutte said that allowing long-range missiles to strike deep into Russia would not change the situation in the conflict, RT recalled. The Pentagon said the United States was not lifting restrictions on long-range strikes by Ukrainian forces that could push Western missiles deep into Russia because of the risk of escalation. The Kremlin said the Russian military had already taken the necessary countermeasures and was preparing.
