Gladkov called the departure of officials for a military operation a personnel problem
The military contract was signed by two deputy governors of Belgorod, the head of the ambulance service and other officials. Gladkov expressed a desire to replace the staff due to the widespread shortage of civil service.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on his VKontakte page that the entry of civil servants into the army has become a major personnel problem.
According to him, two more officials have joined the volunteer wing of "BARS-Belgorod". The first women in the squad are the chief ambulance doctor Aleksey Zhirov and the head of Krasnogvardeisky District Galina Rudenko, who will organize the medical service.
"Of course, Galina Ivanovna is a true warrior from a military family, where almost all men fight and fight. Of course, I understand that she could not have acted differently. Although for me this is a big personnel issue. First of all, I hope that you will agree with the opinion of the Russian Defense Ministry about the gradual rotation of managers who will help BARS-Belgorod and will not leave their jobs. BARS is the country's combat reserve. The BARS-Belgorod unit was formed together with BARS-Kursk and BARS-Bryansk in three border regions on the instructions of President Vladimir Putin. The fighters of these units participate in the protection and defense of socially significant infrastructure and life support facilities, fight UAVs, identify and fight saboteurs, provide a system of counter-terrorist operations (CTO) and ensure the evacuation of civilians. According to the Belgorod government website, the members of the unit "began to carry out the task on October 1." The service is carried out in the region, and contracts range from six months to a year, Bel.ru reports.
In mid-October, seven officials from the Stary Oskol city district joined BARS, including school principals, heads of physical education and sports departments, and directors of public utilities. "And I will not stand aside. I have undergone a medical examination, but because of a recent operation, my doctor advised me to postpone enlistment in the army. We will return to this issue after full recovery," said regional director Andrei Chesnokov.
Around the same time, it became known that the contract was signed by five officials of the Gubkinsky urban district, including the deputy head of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and the head of the Olympic Preparatory Sports School (OPSS).
The detachment was joined by two deputy governors of Belgorod, Rustem Zainullin and Alexander Lorenz, and Father Dimitri.
