A meeting of the Joint Collegium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and Kazakhstan was held in Moscow

In Moscow, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Kazakhstan Police Chief Lieutenant General Yerzhan Sadenov held a meeting of the joint commission of the two countries' Interior Ministries. This was reported to Lenta.ru on Monday, October 14, by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main issue on the agenda of the meeting was joint counteraction to cybercrime. In addition, the meeting approved the work plan of the Joint Board of Directors for 2026. Kolokoltsev emphasized that the fight against IT crime in modern conditions is one of the most important tasks facing law enforcement agencies in many countries.

He also noted in his speech that over the past few years, the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries have continued to cooperate in key areas of combating crime. It is also noted that the agencies have exchanged relevant information. Mutual assistance is also provided in investigating criminal cases and punishing the perpetrators. Interpol channels are also actively used.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Kolokoltsev assessed the damage caused by crimes committed by Russia in cyberspace.
