Deputy Prime Minister: Serbia sees joining BRICS as alternative to EU
The country is studying this option and will definitely be represented at the unification summit in Kazan.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Bulin said in an interview with the German newspaper Berlin Zeitung that Serbia is considering joining BRICS instead of joining the European Union.
He noted that Belgrade representatives will definitely take part in the BRICS summit in Kazan. "It would be irresponsible not to study all options, including joining BRICS. If this is attractive for countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, why should the situation be different in Serbia?" Vulin was surprised.
