Telegram Launches New Phone Number Verification Method
“Businesses can now save millions of dollars by sending verification codes directly to users via Telegram,” Durov said. “This method is much cheaper, faster, and more secure than traditional SMS authentication methods.”
According to him, the cost of one code will be $0.01 globally. In addition, there is no verification fee if the number is not associated with your Messenger account. Durov also emphasized that Telegram has already confirmed the number of users at about 1 billion.
