The EU failed to unblock the Eurofund funds for Ukraine
The European Union has failed to lift the block on Ukraine's financing of arms purchases, EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell said.
"There is still no agreement on unblocking funds for Ukraine. We are close to reaching a compromise proposal," Borrell said, TASS reports.
Hungary is blocking funds for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine. The blockade of the country cannot be overcome in the European Union, Borrell noted.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Hungary is against financing the war in Ukraine. He stressed that Hungary is not ready to supply weapons to Kyiv, RT reports.
