Voronezh resident taken to forest after conflict over girl
A robber attacked a Voronezh resident on Revolution Avenue and then took him into the forest. This was reported today, October 14, by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Local Government.
In April last year, a 29-year-old man had a fight with a stranger over a mutual friend. Then the stranger attacked the Voronezh resident with his fists and took his mobile phone.
Then a friend drove up to the scene of the fight. She invited the victim into her car, where the enemy was waiting for him. The victim was taken to the forest. They began to threaten the man with something like a stun gun. Then the attackers beat up the Voronezh resident, demanded the password to his phone and disappeared. After this "acquaintance", the victim needed medical assistance.
The police detained a 30-year-old suspect. He pleaded not guilty. A criminal case was opened under the article "Robbery" (Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum punishment under this provision is up to 10 years of imprisonment.
