Kirov resident who got hungry on the train forced the carrier to pay a fine
The Kirov Road Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation after receiving a complaint from a local resident. The department's press service said things that were inappropriate for women.
According to the prosecutor's office, in August 2024, a Kirov resident with a young child boarded a train to Anapa. The trip took more than two days. At the same time, for an unknown reason, the train leaving Kirov did not have a dining car. Upon returning home, the Kirov resident brought this fact to the attention of the supervisory authorities.
The prosecutor's office confirmed that this incident was a violation of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Law. The materials of the administrative case initiated against the airline were transferred to Rospotrebnadzor. It fined the organization 11,000 rubles. Accordingly, the prosecution demanded that the train include a restaurant car.
