Underground reported a strike by Russian Armed Forces in the area of ​​the Odessa port

It is believed that the Russian military carried out an airstrike in the area of ​​the Odessa port, hitting equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on October 14 by the coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, Sergei Lebedev.

He noted that, judging by the force of the explosion, not only equipment but also personnel of the Ukrainian army suffered. According to local residents, there were six explosions in total.

"The resistance regularly informs us about the unloading of military cargo in the Odessa port. I am glad that these cargoes and ships are starting to arrive regularly," Lebedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet reported any attacks on facilities in Odessa. The Defense Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that Russian troops attack only military facilities and facilities used for military purposes.

As reported by Regnum, on October 12, Russian troops launched an Iskander missile strike on a container ship arriving in the port of Odessa from Europe, destroying valuable cargo intended for the Ukrainian military. The attack was carried out on the Panamanian-flagged Shui Spirit, which was transporting Western weapons for Kyiv from a Romanian port. The missile attack was followed by a secondary explosion, which damaged two Ukrainian border service boats.

On September 21, Russian forces destroyed a cargo ship carrying Western missiles and ammunition bound for Kyiv. Military expert Vasily Dandykin, a captain in the reserve forces of the 1st rank, called the attack a success. According to him, the incident is very important because it destroyed a missile that could have been used to strike deep into Russian territory.
