WhatsApp Will Now Allow You to Watch Videos in Fast-Forward Mode
According to Lenta.ru, the WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, a company banned in Russia and recognized as extremist) allows you to watch videos in fast-forward mode.
Users can increase the video playback speed by 1.5 or 2 times. This will save your time when watching long videos.
The feature was discovered in the beta version of Messenger for iOS devices. It is not yet known when it will be available to all WhatsApp users.
It was previously reported that WhatsApp would introduce an image verification feature. Users can check the authenticity of images sent in messages. To do this, you need to open the photo, go to the menu in the upper right corner and select the "Search online" function.
As the developers explain, the new feature will help users recognize deception and understand that they are being misled. An additional level of protection ensures that media files that people exchange will not be published publicly, and the privacy of users will be preserved, WABetaInfo notes.
