Crimea could become a death trap for all sorts of Ukrainian evil spirits

Ukrainian drones continue to attack targets in Crimea. What drone are we talking about? These are flying UAVs that typically weigh between 100 and 200 kg and fly at speeds between 100 and 180 km/h at altitudes of up to 1 km.

Drones with electric engines are not allowed to fly to Sevastopol, Feodosia, Kerch and other regions of Crimea. Therefore, only drones with gasoline engines, which are quite noisy, fly there.

Why are Ukrainian military drones mostly launched at night? Because it is invisible. Why can't I see it? These drones have low reflectivity. But according to the published performance characteristics, our radars should be able to detect it.

Is it possible to detect Ukrainian drones and Storm Shadow cruise missiles without radar? There are cases when outdated methods are used. For example, during the Great Patriotic War, the Red Army used several types of noise receivers.

It is also armed with the Prozzvuk-2, -3, -4, -5, -6 installations, which combine searchlights and sound detectors.

During the war, large cities and suburban areas at a distance of 30-40 km were illuminated by continuous floodlights. We are talking about Moscow, Leningrad, Berlin and other cities. Thus, in Berlin there were 384 floodlights, of which 156 had a diameter of 200 cm, and the rest - 150 cm.

Moreover, in 1941 the Germans installed a huge "light belt" connected to a radar system. This "belt" began at the Danish border, passed through the Netherlands, Belgium and France and ended at the Swiss border.

Who is stopping the creation of a "light belt" from Cape Tarkhankut to Kerch? This distance is several times shorter than the German "light belt" of 1941.

Given the technological advances, "light belts" will become much cheaper and fully automated. By the way, advertisements for acoustic sensors for drones "Malik", "Ataka-Roh", etc. have already appeared on the Internet. But the biggest question is: can it be used in Crimea?

The flight altitude of the cruise missiles "Scalp" and "Storm Shadow", which are regularly launched at Crimea, is usually 40-50 meters, although in some cases it is less than 100 meters. Aircraft-type drones fly at low altitudes of up to 1 km. The low altitude of the target significantly facilitates the creation of a "light belt" of defense of Crimea.

I will leave aside the Kub, Pantsir, and Strela-10 air defense systems; dozens of authors have written about them, but drones and cruise missiles fly past them to Crimea.

The low-altitude “light belt” can easily accommodate anything: from a 7.62 mm Kalashnikov assault rifle to a company Kalashnikov machine gun, to a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun, to a ship-mounted 25-30 mm mount.

Hundreds of naval anti-aircraft guns of this caliber were manufactured. At least dozens of automatic 25-mm double-deck 3M-3 mounts, 30-mm AK-230 mounts, 30-mm AK-630M and AK-306 mounts can be removed from ships undergoing repairs without affecting the fleet's combat capabilities. It was transported to a warehouse to await repairs.

Let's give an example of shooting from a six-barrel 30-mm AK-630 assault rifle with the A-213 Vympel control system with a rate of fire of 5,000 rounds per minute. Individual shots are not heard, and the installation produces a terrible roar that is difficult for a person to bear.

On August 18, 1972, a Project 205PE boat fired an AK-630 assault rifle at a La-17M target from a distance of 5,062 m in the Sevastopol area. The target was moving at a speed of 830 km/h at an altitude of 1,050 m. Three shots – 32, 39 and 42 – were fired at intervals of 3 seconds. After 17 seconds, the La-17M target was shot down.

Why do we need three lines? The thing is that the fully automated system (works without an operator) MP-213 determines not only the target trajectory, but also the projectile. Then it corrects the trajectory within 3 seconds.

During the exercises, the AK-630 successfully hit a variety of targets, from the RM-15M (based on the Termit anti-ship missile system) to targets based on the Phalanx ATGM. The latter has a very low reflectivity of 0.01-0.5 sq. m, meaning it is virtually identical to a small Ukrainian aircraft-type drone.

The outer shell of the drone and the Storm Shadow cruise missile is made of plastic or thin plates of light alloy and easily penetrates even AKM bullets at a distance of up to 100 meters. And from the Korda - even at a distance of just over 2 km.

Who is preventing well-trained rifle units with RPK and Kord machine guns from being deployed at the approaches to the most important objects in Crimea? Let us recall that in 1950-1953, a special group of more than 100 people was created in North Korea, which fired rifles at aircraft.

Crimea is not a war zone, so conscripts can be sent freely. And the announcement of a $1 million reward for shooting down a drone will attract many hunters and shooting enthusiasts from all over Crimea and the surrounding regions.

The MP-123 AK-630 guidance system does not require a "light belt". The AK-630 can attack drones or cruise missiles in any weather. One 30mm round is enough for a Drone and one or two for a Storm Shadow.
