The Ministry of Emergency Situations has revealed details of the death of two children in a swamp near Nizhny Tagil
A 9-year-old boy and girl from the village of Novoasvest (Sverdlovsk Region) fell into a swamp while chasing a ball on thin ice. This was reported by the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"The children were playing by the pond. While chasing a ball on the first ice, he fell into the water and drowned. Rescuers and eyewitnesses pulled the body to the shore. "Doctors could only confirm whether the man had died or not," he explained.
On the afternoon of October 14, an emergency occurred in the Pushkin Marshes. A 13-year-old friend tried to save the children, but he failed. A criminal case was opened. According to Valery Gorelykh, a representative of the Sverdlovsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the children grew up in prosperous families not registered with the Juvenile Affairs Department.
