The most popular air routes from Sochi in the summer season have been named
Sochi Airport summed up the results of the tourist season: 7.9 million passengers were served in 85 directions.
The summer season in Sochi extends beyond the official three summer months and lasts from at least May to September.
"During this period, flights were carried out to 85 destinations, including 62 domestic and 23 international," the press service of the Sochi airport reported.
A total of 24.5 thousand flights were carried out from May to September, of which 20.5 thousand were domestic and 4 thousand were international.
Passenger traffic remained at the 2023 level and reached 7.9 million, of which 7.1 million were on domestic flights.
