Water under the floor, leaking roof: Murmansk residents talk about problems with a house with a mural
The roof and floor of residential building No. 2 on Privokzalnaya Street in Murmansk are flooded. Local residents reported this on social networks (SNS).
According to Murmansk residents, they have been submitting numerous requests for a long time to fix the hot water leak in the second entrance.
— The water is flowing from a water pipe that runs under the first floor. There is no basement in the house. The water is collecting under the first floor and is flowing into the distribution cabinets throughout the house through the gaps between the floor and the berth wall. The doors of the electrical cabinets have long since rusted due to the moisture. — Public "Murmansk | "This is alarming news."
There was mold on the first floor of the apartment, and last winter the front door was covered with a thick layer of ice and would not close.
The last major renovation of the building took place in 1971, and the management company was no longer able to cope with many of the problems on its own.
— (...) Pay attention to the sad state of the house in the city center, where all the houses around have already been renovated. This summer, colorful frescoes appeared in our houses, mocking the problems of the residents." Murmansk residents expressed their opinions with bitterness.
