Five days later, the body of a second miner was found under the rubble of a mine belonging to the Kuzbassrazrezugol company in Kuzbass. The deceased worked as a drilling rig operator. This was reported to TASS through the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo Region.
On the night of October 10, during open-pit coal mining at the Mokhovsky open-pit coal mine in the Belovsky district, a sudden collapse of soil and rocks occurred. As a result, two company employees were buried in the mine. During the rescue operation, one person was saved and hospitalized. The body of the second miner was found without any traces under the rubble, the local investigative committee reported. A criminal case has been opened under the article on violation of safety rules at work.
