Siluanov: Pensions for working and non-working people will increase by 7.3% from January
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov reported that pensions for working and non-working Russian citizens will increase by 7.3% from January 2025.
"All pensions for working and non-working pensioners will be indexed to the inflation rate of 7.3% this year," he said at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, making it clear that the upcoming indexation will affect all pensions of the nation.
Siluanov added that for working pensioners, indexation of payments will be introduced for the first time since 2015. He also recalled that all social obligations are taken into account in the draft federal budget for three years.
