Semolina porridge will turn out without lumps under one important condition

Everyone cooks semolina porridge so that there are no lumps, the consistency is good and tasty. The blogger of the channel "Alenka Krasnodar" treated us to simple semolina porridge with milk.

Pour cold water (250 ml) and cold milk (250 ml) into a saucepan or pot with a thick bottom so that the porridge does not burn during cooking. Add salt (1/3 teaspoon), sugar (1 tablespoon) and semolina (40 g or 4 tablespoons) and leave for 10 minutes until fluffy.

Place the pan on the stove and cook, stirring vigorously, until the mixture boils. This is very important to prevent lumps from forming.

Once the mixture boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer the porridge for 2 minutes without stirring. Constant stirring will help maintain the smooth texture of the porridge.

Remove the pan from the stove, cover with a lid and let the porridge sit for 5 minutes. Before serving, stir again, put into bowls and add butter. If desired, you can add jam, berries, fruits, dried fruits or honey.
