Sky Fight of Passengers Forces Captain to Urgently Land Boeing En Route to Moscow
The Rossiya plane made an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk because 44-year-old Ilya P. started a large-scale fight in flight. There were no casualties among the passengers, the plane arrived at its destination, Aviatorschina reports on Telegram.
The situation occurred on board a Boeing 777 (RA-73282) flying from Anadyr to Moscow. It all started about halfway through the flight. The man was drunk and started standing in line. First, he argued with his friends, then turned to the people sitting next to him and provoked the flight attendants, causing a conflict.
At first, the flight attendants decided to talk to the passenger, but drunk Ilya tried to hit the stewardess. Then the others tried to calm him down, but the response turned into a group fight. The man was tied up, but after a few minutes everyone started shouting that they would disperse, and later they read a poem by Pushkin. Ultimately, the captain decided to abort the flight and land the Boeing in Krasnoyarsk.
After landing, the unfit person was handed over to the police, there were no casualties among the other passengers. The plane completed all necessary procedures and flew to its destination.
Earlier, one passenger died in an emergency landing of an airplane in Yakutia. The incident occurred on October 13, 2024, when the plane, flying on the Olekminsk-Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsky route, made a hard landing near the city of Olekminsk in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
